Well deserved: Mari Boine received the Spellemannprisen

On February 25th the Sami singer and songwriter Mari Boine was awarded with the honorary award at Spellemannprisen in Oslo, Norway. The jury honours her engagement for the music and 30 decades of work by a remarkable artist.

With her latest album "See The Woman" Mari Boine gave a debut in a twofold respect: It was her first album for the label MPS and she recorded a entire album in English for the first time. We are excited to see whats coming next!
